Discover the unique lifestyle of people living in floating houses on Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. On the way to the village, you will enjoy a magnificent view of the Cambodian countryside and explore a local market.
Depending on the season, continue on small boats to a flooded forest to navigate in the mangrove.

Program of the day
8:30 am : Departure from your hotel to a typical and very traditional lake village. On the way, you can stop to admire and photograph several remarkable viewpoints. These are not Cambodian pile dwellings but floating houses. You will discover how the daily life of its inhabitants is articulated in this village on the water.
Option 1:
Return to the mainland and head to a village where you will have lunch in a locally flavoured lunch basket just before visiting a silk farm.
Option 2:
Return to the mainland and departure for a Cambodian village, traditional lunch with a Khmer family. Then visit the village and its craftsmen.
(Options 1 and 2: return to your hotel around 4pm)
Option 3:
Visit only the floating village and return to your hotel for lunch.
It is an experience you will never forget and an immersion in a very authentic and local way of living in Cambodia.
